Welcome to the Emergency department at Hosanna health science college (HHSC) Our department is committed to produce competent emergency & critical care nursing professionals, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), who are able to provide a wide range of nursing care for patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Emergency and Critical care nursing is a specialty within nursing that deals specifically with human responses to life-threatening problems. Emergency and critical care nurse is a licensed professional nurse who is responsible for ensuring that acutely and critically ill patients and their families receive optimal care. Emergency and Critical care nurses can be found working in a wide variety of environments and specialties, such as emergency departments and the intensive care units. We strive to provide quality education for EMT students and ECCN students.
